It is due to the development of the Airless systems, that IPT became a pioneer in research on high-tech instruments for bursting and creep/pressure tests on plastic pipes, as well as in manufacturing them. This well-engineered, unique technology is not only available for large-scale test systems with high test capacites. The new BasicLine series is now also available for laboratories with low test volumes.
Since K2010 IPT has taken up the BasicLine for the start-up, with 5 individual stations and max. 100 bar in the product range. The new instrument has everything you need to carry out up to 5 tests independently of one another and in parallel. The unit has beed fitted with an Airless control module for accurate pressure control.

The MFR/MVR tester combines the determination of the melt flow rate (MFR), the melt volume rate (MFR), the shear rate by means of automatic load variation and the melt density (Rhoap) at the test temperature in a single test session.
