IPT TEST EQUIPMENT :: Test with the Best

New Trends in Technology

AIRLESS 1720

1720_airless_1_web.jpg

IPT was already living up to its reputation as a pioneer in the early 1980s by introducing a fully hydraulic test instrument for creep/internal pressure and bursting tests to the market. In this industry, the name AIRLESS has since stood for safe, reliable and user-friendly pipe-testing instruments made by IPT.
In another major step, we would now like to introduce you to the latest generation of these instruments - our Model 1720. Based on our extensive experience, this technology has been consistently developed further and combined with the latest control technology.

New system to investigate the oxygen impermeability of plastic pipes

Permeability_tester.pdf.jpg

As underfloor heating systems are to be incorporated in the concrete plates of the buildings, these should have the same service life as the building itself. The plastic pipes used in this system should also have the same service life. Such a plastic pipe must prevent oxygen penetration and guarantee the service life of the pipes. Many companies are currently trying to develop pipes that are impenetrable to oxygen. The requirements and their evaluation have increased in importance.
This is why IPT has developed a device that is able to test the oxygen permeability or impermeability of plastic pipes as a quality criterion in terms of ISO 17455 and DIN 4726.
